PYRAMID LAKE, NV - On Sunday, May 20, 2012, a solar eclipse will sweep across the Pacific Ocean and over North America.

Symbiosis Gathering will align with this rare celestial event at PYRAMID ECLIPSE, a five-day festival celebrating the emerging culture and sustainable lifestyles that the U.S. West Coast is famous for.


From May 17-22, thousands will gather on the remote desert shores of Pyramid Lake on sacred Paiute tribal land to participate in co-creating a visionary village directly in the path of the eclipse. The auspicious event marks the first major lakeside gathering permitted by the tribe in over 25 years.


To honor the alignment of the Earth, Moon and Sun, Symbiosis will bring together an epic lineup of innovative artists, musicians and teachers for a gathering intended to inspire and inform personal evolution and planetary healing.


Five full days of music will feature hundreds of acts including live bands, electronic, dubstep, techno, trance, house, downtemple, sacred, world, kirtan and much more. From yoga to hula, mycology to neurology, prana to permaculture, the gathering will also offer an array of speakers, workshops and presentations for mind, body and spirit.

Background


Since 2005, Symbiosis events have earned a worldwide reputation for delivering transformational peak experiences through a fusion of nightly art and music mixed with daytime workshops for mind, body and beyond. Past Symbiosis Gatherings in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Angels Camp, and Yosemite National Park have attracted thousands of evolutionaries from around the world.


In collaboration with NASA, Symbiosis has also produced entertainment for Yuri’s Night, an annual convergence of artists, scientists, performers and musicians commemorating space exploration and education and honoring the first person to enter space and orbit Earth in 1961.
